About Us
We welcome our guests in an exceptionally beautiful milieu at the entrance of the village, tucked away in the hills of Zemplén near the Tokaj wine region, under the castle Sólymos, on the bank of a stream.
We provide personalized services and secluded, cozy recreation. Our guest house has 13 rooms with private bathrooms, including one family suite that is divided into two areas with a kitchenette, which is ideal for two adults and two children under the age of 10. After our daughter was born we established a family-friendly environment.
In 2016 we visioned a lodge from our guest house. Eight rooms were renovated and a wellness section was built. Our rooms are equipped with hairdryer, water kettle, free tea and coffee. The rooms are furnished in various styles and decorated specially.
Our sauna world includes bio- Finnish and infra saunas. Through the panoramic windows of the bio- and Finnish saunas you can enjoy the view of the forest and the castle, situated on the top of the hill. Children may enjoy the colour changing starry night sky in the infra sauna. Our saunas also provide light therapy.
Our large garden provides a safe place for the children. Parents can relax untroubled, as the garden and toys are well visible and enclosed. Every child loves the “fairy tale” house. Fathers can unwind sitting under the grape arbor in front of the wine cellar while tasting local wines. Young and old may happily splash in the stream. The small lake is a home to many small fishes, which can be easily spot during feeding time and the petting zoo includes many domestic animals like Bundi, Eszter donkey, Szörmi, Biri és Bari, Zsömle. They always gladly welcome friendly visitors, especially if the visitors offer them nibbles.
Our home-made dishes are made from locally produced ingredients. Besides the local Rusyn specialities, Klári prepares unique seasonal specialities. The landlord gladly talks to the guests at a wine tasting event. A guided tour of the village with the mayor is always very interesting.
There is a lot to see in every season in the local area: ruin of the castle, gold mine, springs, hiking routes, education path, village museum, church, exhibitions, many beautiful celebrations, local products, cheese farm, syrup factory, 5000 roses. The wonders of Zemplén are within easy driving distance from Komlóska.
